As Nick's emerald eyes flickered open he thought for a moment that a witch had ventured near the safe room until he remembered they were safe.  Well in a ceda camp, but that was more safe that being out in safe rooms for nights.  He was just about to go back to bed when he realized that there was soft sobbing coming from near him.  Sitting up he looked around and saw Ellis sitting at the opening of their tent, holding his knee's, his chin resting on them.

"Kid" He said, sliding down next to him.

"Sorry Nick, didn't mean to wake you"

"Not a big deal, why you up anyway"

"Had a dream"

"Don't you mean nightmare?"

"No, dream more like a memory of when my mom and Keith were alive and we had this BBQ and just seeing my momma's smile when me and Keith got soaked when we thought it was smart to wrestle to close to the pond" Ellis tried to smile but let out another small sob.

Frowning lightly Nick put his arm around Ellis's shoulder and pulled him close, the younger male attaching himself to him.

"I miss them Nick"

"I know you do El"

Looking up Ellis pressed his lips to Nicks, wrapping his arms around his neck.  The slight scratch of stubble pressed against his jaw but he could care less as Nick started kissing him back.

"You won't leave me right?" Ellis asked, his voice wavering slightly.

"I'm not going anywhere" Nick said and kissed him again.

And if he could help it he wasn't going to, since even just the thought of more tears in Ellis's eyes put a uncomfortable knot in his stomach.
Just some random Nellis that my brain came up with. I have no idea

Very sweet, I liked it! One thing that definitly could get better though, is the lack of punctuation. There's a lot of run-on sentences, which makes it harder to read and make the whole story seem a bit rushed. That's sort of sad, since it's great in every other way.
